Al-Alameen School is implementing the National Curriculum of England as a junior school. This covers Key Stage 1 and 2. There is combination with Arabic and Islamic Studies (Quraan, Tawheed and Fiqh), Music has been taken out.

Islamic Studies are:
1) Quraan.
2) Tawheed (doctrine of Oneness of God).
3) Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence).

Montessori is children education approach presented by an Italian physician and educator 'Maria Montessori'. It was based on research about the child's nature. Montessori found in her research that:
- Children have inner guidance of nature.
- Children should have freedom for self-directed learning.
- Teachers should observe children engaged in activities that follow their own natural interests.
- Children have the ability to shift their fundamental being from the ordinary condition of disorder, inattention, and attachment to fantasy to a state of perfect normal being, showing such external behaviour as spontaneous self-discipline, independence, love of order and complete harmony and peach with others in social situation.
- Children have an instinctive tendency to develop through spontaneous experiences in the environment.
Learning Difficulties
The School provides some assistance for children with learning difficulties such as children with dyslexia and dyspraxia.
